Website Compliance Assessment

Website Compliance Assessment

CastleGarde’s Website Compliance Assessment is designed to assist credit unions to comply with NCUA guidelines and federal regulations concerning advertising requirements and required disclosures when delivering services through the credit union’s website. Our website assessment program is based on the requirements outlined in the Interagency Guidance on Electronic Financial Services and Consumer Compliance and the Interagency Statement on Retail On-line PC Banking, produced by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), and various federal laws and regulations.

Process

CastleGarde’s Website Compliance Assessment evaluates each page on the credit union’s website to ensure it is in compliance with relevant federal laws and regulations. The website is also reviewed for website construction, ease of navigation, and possible non-technical security issues (such as allowing non-public information to be entered on a non-https page or on a form that is not secure).

Deliverable

Upon completion of the review, all findings are presented in an easily interpretable report. The report includes the location of non-compliant pages and an image of those pages along with guidance on the modifications required to bring each page into compliance.
